De’Aaron Fox will make his debut for the San Antonio Spurs against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, the team announced.
“There’s no concern of ramping up, conditioning or whatnot. We know there will be a runway of learning our program and terminology.
“There will be some patience and some excitement on both sides from the group here waiting on them and then joining the group,” said Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson.
It is unknown how Fox will impact the team’s current starting backcourt of Chris Paul and Stephon Castle.
The 27-year-old Fox is averaging 25.0 points and 6.1 assists on the season.
