Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram is progressing in his recovery from a significant left ankle sprain. Ingram is increasing his on-court activity, but remains limited to solo work. Ingram will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
The Raptors acquired the veteran forward at the trade deadline from the New Orleans Pelicans. Toronto and Ingram then agreed to a three-year, $120 million extension that will start with next season.
While Ingram has yet to debut for the Raptors, the team sees him as a key part of their team moving forward. Toronto envisions Ingram teaming with Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett to form a switchable, versatile forward/wing trio.
